OVERVIEW:
A notable, chef-driven Boston restaurant group seeks an Executive Chef for their highly regarded and busy restaurant that features seasonal, coastal Italian cuisine.
The Executive Chef is directly responsible for day to day operations, culinary staff leadership, and executing kitchen standards for the restaurant. The Executive Chef reports to the chef/owner and is responsible for ensuring culinary excellence, meeting and exceeding financial goals, and ensures that best practices are being implemented. This role is best for someone who is excited to execute the current culinary vision and may eventually have some creative input with the menu.
The Executive Chef is a key member of the Companys management team and will be required to meet and/or exceed financial growth and success.The Executive Chef will monitor and ensure that the menu and recipes are being followed, ensure standards of quality are upheld, oversee all matters pertaining to kitchen operations to include facilities management, hiring and retention of staff/kitchen personnel, financial audits, budgeting, cost controls, and staff development.
