We are a well-known restaurant group known for our southern hospitality in Columbus, GA seeking an Executive Chef with Kitchen Manager experience for one of our upscale dining concepts/eateries and Steakhouse.

Who do we seek?
- 3+ years of Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager experience in an Upscale, Fine Dining, Entertainment Venue, Steakhouse restaurant preferred
- This role is requires relocation to Columbus, GA.
- Deliver exceptional guest service
- In charge of all kitchen operations, including preparing dishes, hiring and managing kitchen staff, and inventory management.
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs.
- Supervise kitchen staff's activities.
- Coach, develop and lead a high performing team
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards
- Hands-on Leadership, Excellent communication
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Lead kitchen team with a positive attitude and servant leadership style of management
- Develop daily specials
- Develop menu items (along with owner)
- Maintain and manage food inventories
- Work with owner on placing orders with suppliers
- Organize trainings for new hires and continued education for team members
- Assist owners with development and openings of new concepts/projects
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen facility, including checking out stations and storage areas
- Create schedule for kitchen team
- Work as a team with other management members/leaders in the organization
- Ensure building is locked and secured at end of shifts
- Assist owner with managing food and labor costs
- Discourage drama and negative attitudes
- Maintain steady communication with owners
- Miscellaneous tasks and assignments as requested by owners
