Job Description - Executive Client Partner (Enterprise Telecommunications Account - Dallas)

At CourtAvenue, an Executive Client Partner—referred to internally as the Executive Director, Business Innovations—is a key client business leader responsible for driving client and agency growth, P&L results, and client satisfaction across their book of business. This role is pivotal in accelerating the overall success of CourtAvenue by acting as a lead voice of the client internally, co-leading the client and guiding key cross-functional teams to ensure client and company success. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation and fluency in digital ecosystems, allowing them to confidently engage in strategic conversations involving complex platforms, emerging technologies, and digital product development. This leader thoughtfully identifies client challenges and works collaboratively to produce measurable, world-class results with transformative impact. The Executive Director, BI fosters product excellence and focuses on building credible, enduring client relationships centered on shared values and goals. This role is highly external-facing and requires a commitment to guiding clients through ambiguity and complexity—always ensuring clarity, alignment, and no surprises.

Responsibilities

    • Client Focus & Leadership:
    • Act as a co-general manager of the client business; working with client executives across all business units, working collaboratively with a peer Executive Director, BI to ensure comprehensive client coverage and success.
    • Successfully manage and oversee agency business results for the client account, including forecasting, investment planning, revenue, and profitable growth.
    • Help external client leads identify both strategic business problems and opportunities, while serving as a trusted partner in effective solution implementation.
    • Develop account plans, engagement strategies, and applicable client proposals based on CourtAvenue capabilities and best practices, always ensuring proper client navigation and "no surprises" delivery.
    • Provide clear communication and key client objectives to all team members with specific performance measures in place to assure maximum alignment with client goals and client satisfaction (measured by NPS).
    • Serve as the resident expert in the telecommunications field, speaking clearly to the competitive playing field, products, services, trends, and digital positions within the industry.
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to uncover opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Collaborate closely with a peer Executive Director, BI on the client account, to align strategies, share insights, and ensure a unified, cohesive approach to client growth and satisfaction.
    • Team Management & Growth:
    • Champion cohesive team environments that are open and collaborative with the ability to create energy and excitement around ideas.
    • Pull integrated activities together across agency partners, departments, and disciplines to move client business through production to launch.
    • Assess and recommend successful strategies for building efficiencies, streamlining operations, and enhancing the value of the agency to the client.
    • Mentor and develop direct reports focusing on strategic and interpersonal growth while identifying employee goals and conducting effective performance reviews.
    • Pay sharp attention to detail to ensure agency work follows digital marketing best practices and leading technologies.
    • Create and own customer growth and retention programs in consultation with the Partners.
    • Incubate new business ideas within the CourtAvenue Network to add value to existing clients’ scope of work.
    • Develop strategic roadmaps for clients and prospects that can secure long-term pipeline of both strategy and delivery work for CourtAvenue.
    • Represent CourtAvenue at applicable industry events and contribute thought leadership relevant to the telecommunications sector.

Requirements

    • 15+ years of marketing or advertising experience, with extensive experience in running large accounts and working with senior stakeholders.
    • Strong background and extensive experience in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
    • Proven track record of structuring, leading, and developing complex client relationships.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across various levels of an organization.
    • Strong business acumen; ability and drive to bring people together, create energy around ideas, and recommend actionable strategies.
    • Intuitive and perceptive, with outstanding communications across functional teams; comfortable and confident in strategic discussions and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
    • Excellence in organization and management; conscientious, and skilled at solving issues at all project levels while supporting colleagues and clients, ensuring "no surprises" for the client.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering measurable business results focused on P&L growth.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Additional Information

    • Role will be on-site/in-office; between our Dallas Office and the Client location (also in Dallas).
    • Our CourtAvenue Dallas Office is located at 1722 Routh Street, Dallas, TX 75201.
    • Benefits (medical, dental and vision) available the first of the month after the date of hire.
$185,000 - $225,000 a year
Final comp will be based on total related experience.
