Job Summary
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of all major care programs across the organization. This role also serves as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy, planning, and executive decision-making. This role will ensure that the organization meets the highest standards of individual care, quality, and program compliance standards. The Executive Director will lead a specialized team to provide guidance, support, and ensure direct reports are equipped with the resources, training, and leadership to deliver excellent individual care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Exercises management practices that result in efficient and effective administration and a satisfactory risk management tolerance level
Develops and maintains a level of satisfaction for all people served directly or indirectly that ensures the continuing success of the company and the care programs
Develops and maintains a beneficial working relationship with all counties or contracting agencies, DHS and other stakeholders
Successfully completes all management team goals and assigned strategic goals.
Exercises leadership that results in productive company team performance outcomes
Responsible for public relations and committee involvement to build stronger community connections
Responsible for operationalizing Person-Centered thinking philosophy, with practical application, practices, and actions throughout the company
Ensure all major programs, particularly Minnesota Personal Care Assistance / Community First Services and Supports and 245D, meet or exceed quality and compliance standards.
Oversee the development of a robust and sustainable auditing and quality assurance system for major care programs
Oversee the development and implementation of care policies, procedures, and protocols
Effectively manage program leadership team, including Nurses, Designated Managers, PCA Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Manager focused on care programs
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the organization
Promote continuous improvement in care programs by supporting Nurses or Designated Managers in monitoring, evaluating, and improving care delivery
Monitor changes in program statutes, applicable legislation, and industry standards, ensuring care programs evolve and adapt accordingly
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements
Only local residents of Minnesota will have their applications considered.
7-10 years of managerial experience in a related role along with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
Relevant experience managing community relationships within the social services field
A degree in social services, social work, or healthcare is preferred
Ability to plan, organize, develop, and implement goals and objectives, policies, and procedures
Meet licensing requirements of federal, state, county, or other applicable standards
Knowledge of 245D waivered services in Minnesota is preferred
Advanced skills/experience in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and MS Excel are required to analyze data
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, deliver a high level of accuracy, and possess excellent time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, including executives, and demonstrate strong relationship-building skills
Customer-focused, producing timely and accurate results
Ability to effectively use strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Perform all other duties as assigned
Sit, stand, walk, bend, and move intermittently during working hours
