REPORTS TO: Regional Director of Operations

JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to direct the daily operations and census development of assisted living facility. This involves coordination of admissions and discharges, as well as communication with staff, residents and families. This position includes engagement and connection with the community, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Creates a welcoming community culture that provides quality resident life and care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• The Assisted Living Executive Director must be well organized and have the ability to work with limited direction, take initiative and have the ability to plan and carry out responsibilities and duties
• Ensure resident rights are maintained at all times
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and good judgement
• Answers to daily inquires of residents and public regarding admitting procedures, facility regulation and services
• Calculates daily census and verify accuracy
• Requires good judgement and human relation skills with the ability to monitor and direct the activities of others
• Administer fair and consistent coaching and discipline to Team Members
• Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines
• The ability to maintain good professional relationships with physicians, residents, family members and Team Members
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Certified Assisted Living Manager Certification
• Knowledge and experience in assisted living or long term care
• Knowledge of state assisted living regulations
• 2 years or more experience in assisted living or geriatric activity programming
• Bachelor’s degree or LVN/RN License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Clinical
