Dakota Alliance Soccer Club (DASC):
DASC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) soccer club organization serving the community of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and surrounding communities. DASC provides competitive and recreational soccer opportunities for children through adult and is dedicated to developing the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity. The club currently has over 4,000 children and adults participating in its various programs.
Overview:
DASC is immediately seeking a well-qualified candidate to serve as a full-time Executive Director. Responsibilities will be to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and community representation and point of contact for significant issues affecting the development and delivery of DASC’s programs and services. This position will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for advancing the mission, ensuring financial sustainability, overseeing program and staff, and fostering a positive and inclusive experience for all participants. Work will include a mix of office, remote, and field-based work with possibility for some seasonal and weekend commitments required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in nonprofit management, youth sports, or a mission-driven organization with strong financial/accounting and operational management skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities. Experience working with boards, staff, volunteers, and diverse community stakeholders required. Applicant must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a seasonal, deadline-driven environment and demonstrate an ability to plan, organize, and direct comprehensive programs in a successful organization. Applicants should be self-motivated, demonstrate an ability to maintain high morale and enthusiasm, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate an ability to lead a team of employees and volunteers. Soccer knowledge is ideal but not required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, sports management, or a related field with five or more years of professional experience preferred.
Salary:
Salary starting at $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a benefits package.
