About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Business Operations and Strategy in the Caremark CMO's Office. This role is pivotal in driving industry-leading clinical quality, customer success, and innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and driving priority and strategic initiatives, establishing deep cross-functional relationships, and ensuring that solutions are effectively designed and implemented with a focus on measurable outcomes. The Executive Director will work with the Caremark Medical Affairs leadership team to develop and execute long and short-term strategic plans, lead research, and stimulate strategic thinking in alignment with enterprise and business unit priorities. They will also be accountable for developing and implementing the Caremark Medical Affairs strategic roadmap, managing organization resources, and serving as critical integrators of work and activities.Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of business leadership, chief of staff experience, or equivalent, and the ability to work in a hybrid model. Multi-functional strategic plan development, budget oversight, and significant enterprise-wide program and project management experience are preferred. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and moderate travel. The Executive Director will have elevated visibility and accountability to senior leadership and must be adept at managing relationships with leaders across the business segments. The position demands a strategic thinker who can challenge partners to think differently, act as thought partners and model creative problem-solving to impact business decisions.
