Participates in monthly financial close meetings. Prepares the annual Hospital budget, cost reports, and other governmental financial and statistical reports. Maintains accurate records for filing financial and payroll-related reports. Monitors, maintains, and updates all third-party contract files for accounting documentation. Prepares and presents timely and accurate monthly departmental operating reports to Hospital staff. Prepares monthly exhibits for the accurate presentation of all third-party reimbursement contractual allowances. Ensures that audit results for cost reports are within acceptable ranges. Ensures that revenue audit findings are communicated in a timely manner. Ensures that financial statement audits result in no unexpected adjustments to allowances for Accounts Receivable. Oversees preparation and files Medicare, Medicaid, and AHCA prior year cost reports annually and on a timely basis. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Pay Range:
