About the Role The Executive Director of Enterprise Policy and Governance is a senior leadership role within the Office of Enterprise Integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and direction on enterprise governance and policies. This includes coordinating the organization's response to external requirements and mandates, leading the development and management of an enterprise governance operation, and ensuring the standardization of high-level decision-making. The role also involves the development of policies, plans, and procedures to achieve organizational objectives, as well as fostering an organizational culture that encourages high performance. The Executive Director will be expected to provide advice and counsel to senior management, lead and integrate activities that support policy development and execution planning, and work across the enterprise to interpret and address various equities.Applicants for this position must have experience in providing oversight and successful execution of enterprise policy development, analysis, and implementation, as well as supporting the development and implementation of enterprise governance programs. The role requires a candidate with a background in managing a large public or private sector organization that administers complex, rules-based benefits or services. The position does not have a specific education requirement, but the individual's total experience, education, and volunteer work experience must demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the role. The Executive Director will be part of the Senior Executive Service and must meet the five Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) as set by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. US citizenship is required, and the successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.
