The role you’ll contribute:

This position is responsible for executive oversight of all aspect of Imaging Services for West Florida Division (WFD), to include strategic plan, policies, procedures, staff training & education, diagnostic studies, and treatments by promoting a cooperative working relationship with medical staff, executive leaders, team members, and contracted vendors. Coordinates outsourced Biomedical-Clinical Engineering service to hold the business partner accountable for its performance according to the contractual terms and conditions. Formulates a well-integrated system for results reporting, overall service line responsibility of clinical, operational, and financial performances in accordance with quality standards in regulatory requirements. Ensures proper safety programs and provides mentoring to leaders and team members. Collaborates with physician leadership, WFD executives and AdventHealth corporate Ancillary Governance Council to achieve whole person care with the best possible clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and financial efficiency. The executive director assists the Chief Strategic Performance Officer of WFD in providing leadership and direction in the translation of the service line business strategy into organizational initiatives and priorities within WFD campuses.

Strategically evaluates and improves policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices consistent with the organization’s goals and all regulatory requirements and standards.

Conducts frequent inspection and observation of service operations in WFD facilities. Enhances performance in accreditation preparation, compliance and ensures organizational compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements relative to the delivery of care.

Oversees standardization of staff orientation, competencies, staffing model, and training programs across multiple care settings and promotes system efforts in talents recruitment and retention.

·

Collaborates as subject matter expert by developing a high performing culture to keep all parties engaged. This involves constant communication with physicians, executive leadership teams and other key stakeholders.

Formulates well thought strategy, plan, and recommendations, and communicates with key stakeholders timely and effectively through various channels and methods including the power point presentations, process mapping, written documents, etc.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical imaging experience

·

Minimum seven (7) years in senior administrative of imaging type of service

·

Bachelors in business, radiology, engineering, or other healthcare clinical or technological related field

·

Registry/Certification in appropriate modality required.
