About the Role
The Executive Director, Medical Affairs Outcomes Research (MAOR) US Lead is a pivotal role that involves leading and managing a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) across the US. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple therapeutic areas, maintaining a hands-on, field-based role, and partnering with stakeholders to develop and shape the digital medical strategy. This includes fostering relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals to support the company's scientific and medical objectives. The role also encompasses the development and implementation of strategies to maximize the team's effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the evolution of the function.Candidates for this position must have an advanced clinical or science degree, or health care professional credentials, and a minimum of five years of experience in field medical excellence or seven years as a Medical Science Liaison in Women's Health. Demonstrated leadership in scientific symposia, experience in digital medical strategy, and a proven track record of success are essential. The role requires the ability to quickly deliver high-value outcomes, analyze medical questions for insights, and identify digital tools for virtual interactions. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are a must, as is a commitment to the highest ethical, legal, regulatory, and scientific standards. Preferred qualifications include management experience and therapeutic area knowledge.
