The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Enterprise Data to lead the development and implementation of a robust data infrastructure, management, and analytics. This role is pivotal in enhancing data-driven decision-making, increasing operational efficiencies, and developing AI data strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic vision for data management and analytics, ensuring the integrity and security of the data infrastructure, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data team. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various university departments to meet their data needs, managing technology integration, and promoting institutional data literacy.Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in data warehousing, infrastructure management, data governance, and strategic development. A minimum of 5 years in technology and team management, including leadership roles managing data analysts, is required, with at least 3 years of experience in advanced SQL scripting, database management, data visualization, ETL processes, and project management. Experience with AI in data analytics is also necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, change management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong team orientation. The role demands a hands-on leader who can both create data products and cultivate a team of dedicated data professionals.
