About the Role The Executive Director of the Real Estate Center is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic development and management of the Center. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating and implementing a multi-year strategic plan to position the Center as a leading hub for real estate education, training, and research. This includes building an Executive Board and external membership, securing funding, organizing high-profile events, and expanding the Center's activities and initiatives. The role also involves working closely with academic leadership to enhance real estate degree programs, building partnerships for research projects, and developing a comprehensive marketing plan. The Executive Director must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in the real estate industry, with a proven track record in real estate finance, development, and investment. Strong leadership, entrepreneurial, and management skills are essential, as is the ability to engage with industry leaders and the wider real estate community.Candidates for the Executive Director position at the Real Estate Center must possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least seven years of experience in the real estate industry, preferably in a leadership capacity, with a strong background in real estate finance, development, and investment. The role requires a candidate with a distinguished record of professional accomplishments, significant leadership skills, and the ability to manage a complex budget. An advanced degree, real estate certification, and experience in leading a university-based real estate program are preferred qualifications. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategically minded, and have a proven ability to develop and sustain new businesses or programs. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are a must, as is the capacity to build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and external partners. The Executive Director will be expected to make the Center a self-sufficient entity and to grow its visibility and impact within the real estate field.
