About the Role
The Executive Director, SAP Technology Lead is a pivotal role within the EIT SAP Platform Team, responsible for providing strategic direction and technical leadership for the DEV technology team. This includes overseeing all areas of SAP technology, leading a team of SAP professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's SAP systems. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving innovation and continuous improvement in SAP systems and processes, as well as developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the business's overall goals. They will also be responsible for SAP Basis DEV/OPS, SAP Development OPS, SAP Upgrades, and SAP Integrations and Reporting, ensuring that the enterprise-level capabilities are delivered through harmonized business processes and data.Applicants for this role must have a Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in a computer science, information systems, or related field preferred, and at least 10 years' of SAP technical experience. Experience in the Life Sciences Industry and with SAP S/4HANA is also desirable. The role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, landscape design, and system administration best practices, as well as extensive experience in SAP Basis administration. The candidate should be familiar with the latest SAP development capabilities and best practices, and have experience in SAP security concepts and implementation. Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with a diverse team are essential. The role demands a leader who can ensure operational excellence, drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and effectively manage and develop a high-performing team of SAP professionals.
