About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the total operation of dining and support services functions within a senior living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and ensuring compliance with standards in all community dining and support services operations, including financial management, budgeting, and coordination of activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, with a focus on fostering a hospitality-centric culture, and customer service philosophy. The Executive Director will also be the primary liaison with the regional director of operations and will be accountable for the performance of the team, ensuring quality, and maintaining a strong focus on resident experiences.Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a four-year college degree or equivalent related experience, and a minimum of three to five years of housekeeping/dining services management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. The role demands a candidate with the ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data, excellent social skills, a high customer service and quality attitude, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, as well as experience in staff management, and the development of operating budgets, is essential. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Windows-based office software and demonstrate a commitment to compliance with regulatory agencies and the achievement of facility goals and objectives.
