About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Strategy & Business Development in Payer Relations. This pivotal role involves informing and executing strategies to meet the evolving needs of payers and the industry. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of business transformation, demonstrating intellectual curiosity about the pharmaceutical landscape, the persistence to tackle complex business challenges, and the leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include developing go-to-market tactics, conducting tactical assessments, and measuring the outcomes of various retail pharmacy network, product, and service initiatives. The role also entails owning and managing the development of the Payer Relations toolkit, leading key strategic projects, and aligning stakeholders across the organization.Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years in a healthcare leadership role, with at least 8 years managing large-scale projects in complex business environments. Experience with geographically diverse, primarily work-from-home teams is essential, as is proven financial acumen and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to foster engagement across diverse stakeholder groups, and a track record of successful collaboration and execution. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a deep understanding of payer decision-making, pharmacy markets, and the company's offerings is expected.
