Position Summary:
The Executive Housekeeper reports to the Executive Assistant Manager. The Executive Housekeeper leads and manages the housekeeping department in an all-inclusive hotel environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency throughout all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and manage all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry services, and housekeeping storerooms.
· Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
· Implement and monitor housekeeping procedures and brand standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation.
· Oversee linen inventory, supply ordering, and cost control measures within departmental budgets.
· Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
· Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and equipment to ensure quality control and guest satisfaction.
· Develop training programs and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and excellence in service delivery.
· Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
· Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
· Prepare reports, analyze trends, and submit departmental KPIs to management regularly.
Team Leadership & Training
· Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and service levels.
· Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and shift coverage to ensure smooth operations.
· Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to enhance staff skills and reinforce hotel policies.
Inventory & Cost Control
· Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and cleaning materials to control costs and minimize waste.
· Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock replenishment as needed.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
Guest Satisfaction & Service Excellence
· Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
· Implement service recovery strategies when necessary to ensure a positive guest experience.
· Develop and implement new strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction.
Compliance & Safety
· Ensure that all housekeeping procedures adhere to health and safety regulations, fire codes, and hygiene standards.
· Conduct safety training and enforce proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
· Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, maintenance reports, and incident logs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
· Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a hotel or resort (all-inclusive experience preferred).
