Responsibilities

• Write and send customer contracts for IQF fruits, vegetables, and purees
• Coordinate customer sample requests by entering request, arranging shipment, and sending customer tracking information
• Resolve order and inventory challenges by investigating data and history, identifying alternate means for filling orders
• Provide product and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information, and answering questions
• Follow up on leads from trades shows and take customer calls
• Prepare sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats
• Record sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses for reimbursement
• Assist with customer receivables via phone, email, and mail
• Register and carry out all necessary preparations for tradeshows including packing, shipping, attending, set up, and break down
• Help local customers with case/pallet orders of fruits, vegetables, and purees
• Perform additional duties and tasks as needed to help with company events, customer needs, and sales team needs
• This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company. This responsibility extends over all shifts.
• During absence, the following position serves as coverage to this position: Industrial Sales Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Background in customer service, food processing, or agriculture preferred but not required
• Strong organizational, communication, planning, and time management skills
