The Executive Vice President is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and business activities at their agency. Duties will include allocating budget resources, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administrative processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities. The role also requires adherence to company policies and mandatory laws/regulations (state, local, and federal/DOT).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement processes, procedures, and best practices to improve organizational profitability.
Communicate important updates to staff.
Serve as a strategic partner on the management team to help drive and achieve sustainable growth.
Help cultivate sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
Oversee financial aspects of the company to include business forecasting, budgeting, cash management, AR/AP, financial statements, payroll, and bookkeeping.
Oversee operational aspects of the company to include purchasing, safety, driver/labor qualifications/management, and warehouse management.
Employee management responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, organizational structure, ICOA administration, hiring and termination, compensation, performance management, training, and disciplinary actions.
All other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree in business administration is preferred.
7+ years of leadership experience in relocation or logistics, or an otherwise adjacent industry.
Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of Financial Reporting and Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Human Resources, Warehousing, and Operational efficiencies.
Proven communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
Understanding of best practices in client services, ethics, and diversity & inclusion.
Global and cultural awareness.
Robust understanding of mandatory laws/regulations (state, local, federal, DOT).

COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a target salary range of $140k-$150k+ annually, depending on relevant skills and experience.
