As we experience a phase of substantial growth, Exhale House is seeking a Beauty Support Specialist to join our team of professionals, assisting our founder and lead stylists in a fast-paced, high-touch salon environment. This is your entry point into the world of luxury extensions, dimensional color, and sensorial guest care—with real growth potential and elevated mentorship.

Our salon is small by design. Fewer chairs, softer voices, real relationships. This isn’t a frantic beauty environment — it’s a boutique space built on integrity, respect, and the kind of service that stays with people.

What We Offer:

• Entry-level assistants will start at $20/hour, with the opportunity for a performance-based increase to $22–24/hour after 90 days. This position also offers a clear performance-based growth path, with earning potential of up to $28/hour within two years.​

Where You’ll Shine:

• Support stylists with extension prep, client readiness, and behind-the-chair organization
  


• Assist with shampoos, blowouts, styling, and guest care during double-booked appointments
  


• Capture content (after photos/videos) for portfolio + marketing
  


• Keep the salon guest-ready, intentional, and immaculate
  


• Rotate between assisting with color, extensions, or both, depending on the day
  


• Style clients based on skill—may include blowout or styling appointments with bonus pay
  


• Participate in education and shadowing, with opportunities to attend guest artist trainings and work toward Great Lengths certification ($2,900 value)
  

• A licensed or soon-to-be California cosmetologist
  


• Solid styling and blowout skills aligned with current trends
  


• Detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and poised
  


• Excited to learn about luxury services and provide high-touch guest care
  


• Gracious, grounded, and ready to grow
  

Your Dream Week:

• Morning Momentum: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, Tuesday–Friday
  For early risers who like their afternoons free. Focus on morning prep, client readiness, and assisting with midday services.


• Golden Hour Crew: 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm, Tuesday–Friday
  Great for those who want a slower start. Focus on finishing services, styling, and guest experience.


• Power Trio (3 Long Days): 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 3 days/week (e.g. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
  For stylists who want to go deeper, faster. Focused, immersive work with both color and extensions.


• Bonus: You may also have opportunities for friends/family test days (unpaid but educational), or full-day model work as your skills evolve.
