Position Summary:

Exit worker serves as a courteous and professional point of contact for voters, quickly assessing and addressing their needs. They are responsible for overseeing the secure deposit of in-person ballots into the ballot box, maintaining the integrity of the ballot box chain of custody, and distributing “I Voted” stickers as voters complete the process.

Job Description:

• Must be pleasant, personable, and professional


• Must quickly assess the voters’ needs


• Oversees voters dropping In-Person ballots into the ballot box


• Responsible for maintaining ballot box chain of custody


• Distributes “I Voted” stickers


• Able to work 14+ hours Election Day


• Attend a Exit Worker training course


• Attend a Simulation training class

WORKING DATE RANGE: Monday Nov. 3rd, 2025 - Tuesday Nov. 4th, 2025

(Training Dates will be available on your offer letter when sent out)

Depending on ballot return volume, you may be asked to work more or less days/hours. 

Essential physical characteristics: Continuous upward and downward flexion of the neck. Ability to sit, stand or walk for 8-12 hours per day, repetitive use of the hands. Continual: walking, standing, bending, and twisting of the neck, bending, and twisting of waist, simple grasping, reaching above and below shoulder level, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 40 lbs. with assistance.
