As we continue expanding across the nation, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Expansion Supervisor to lead the end-to-end process of launching new operational sites and delivery facilities.

Position Overview

The Expansion Supervisor will oversee the full lifecycle of SwiftX’s new market expansions — from site selection and facility setup to regulatory compliance and operational readiness. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination with operations, safety, facilities, finance, and legal teams to ensure every new site is launched on time, within budget, and fully compliant with state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Expansion Planning & Execution

• Lead and manage the full process of expanding SwiftX operations into new states or markets.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new warehouse and delivery facility locations based on operational needs, cost efficiency, and coverage goals.
• Develop and maintain a standardized expansion playbook and checklist to ensure consistent site setup and compliance.
• Coordinate with leasing agents, property managers, and contractors for facility procurement and readiness.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety

• Research and ensure adherence to all applicable state and local regulations related to warehouse operations, transportation, and employment.
• Partner with the Safety and Compliance teams to confirm all new sites meet OSHA, DOT, and local safety standards.
• Implement pre-launch safety inspections and readiness assessments.

Facility Setup & Operational Readiness

• Oversee facility build-out, layout planning, utilities setup, and equipment installation.
• Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure, signage, security, and warehouse equipment.
• Ensure all operational tools, systems, and SOPs are in place prior to site launch.
• Conduct readiness reviews and validate site performance during initial operation phase.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure smooth expansion execution.
• Support staffing and onboarding efforts for new locations in collaboration with local management.
• Report project progress, risks, and post-launch performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or facilities/project management (last-mile delivery experience preferred).
• Proven experience managing new site launches, expansions, or operational setup projects.
• Strong knowledge of state and local regulatory environments affecting logistics or warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across the U.S. to support new site development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or similar)
