About this Opportunity:

Supply Chain Expeditor 1 is part of Supply Chain Services, supporting Sales and Operations throughout the entire organization. The main function is to manage the Reactive Expedite Requests that are submitted through a dashboard, communicate with internal departments and our suppliers to achieve desired outcomes, and manage PO dates within our MRP system. An ideal candidate will have experience with MRP software and working with reports.

Position reports to Planning Supervisor.

Location:

Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

Requirements

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary duties:

· Evaluate inventory shortages using reports, dashboards, and MRP programs.

· Work with suppliers and internal departments to confirm MRP data.

· Communicate product delivery gaps to the supplier and request improved delivery dates.

· Update MRP data based on communications.

· Other duties may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor's degree in any business-related field preferred or equivalent combinations of experience and education.

EXPERIENCE:

· 2 years of Supply Chain, Customer Service, Expediting or Logistics experience is preferred.

· 2 years ISO or AS9100 experience preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage project work.

· Ability to functionally use data sets and derive desired information.

· High attention to detail with forward-looking approach.

· Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot routine business challenges.

· Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

· Experience with Outlook, Excel and Teams/Zoom.
