Gravity Haus is in search of an efficient and detail-oriented Expeditor to play a vital role in our restaurant's success. As an Expeditor, you'll be responsible for ensuring that orders are prepared correctly, promptly delivered to the table, and that each guest's experience is smooth and enjoyable.

What You’ll Do…

• Uphold the restaurant's commitment to high-quality dining experiences by ensuring that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet and exceed quality standards, paying close attention to presentation, temperature, and overall excellence.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to coordinate the timing of food orders, ensuring that appetizers, entrees, and sides are prepared and served in synchronization.
• Take charge of the final presentation of each dish, guaranteeing that plates are garnished correctly, sauces are beautifully drizzled, and that the food is free from any imperfections, smudges, or spills.
• Serve as a vital communication hub between the kitchen and servers, effectively relaying information regarding special orders, dietary restrictions, and any changes to orders to maintain order accuracy.
• Double-check each order to ensure that it is complete before leaving the kitchen, verifying that all items are included and prepared as per the order.
• Verify that each order matches the server's ticket and is ready for delivery to the dining room, maintaining order accuracy and efficiency.

Education and Experience

• 1+ years experience in food & beverage

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 70 pounds occasionally
