The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with over 3 years of experience in Insurance Defense, specializing in bodily injury and premise liability cases. Qualifications:

• Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, specializing in bodily injury, premise liability and/or general liability

• Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferred

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed

• Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist Attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management for bodily injury and premises liability claims

• Draft and manage subpoenas and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all information is up to date and easily accessible
• Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries

• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses and other parties involved in our cases
• Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe & Excel
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to management multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Proficient in legal research and writing
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
