Job Description - Experienced Automotive Sales Manager



Sales Manager – Middletown Chevrolet


Experienced. Driven. Results-Oriented.


Middletown Chevrolet is looking for a proven Sales Manager with a strong finance background who is ready to own results across both the Sales and Finance departments. This is not a desk-only role — this position is for a hands-on leader who knows how to create traffic, work leads, and close deals.


What We’re Looking For


This role requires someone who is:




  • Highly experienced with used cars and appraisals




  • Strong in desking deals and structuring approvals




  • Confident working directly with lenders to get customers approved




  • Comfortable operating in both sales and finance




  • Obsessed with lead management and traffic creation




If you’re not willing or able to make 50–100 calls per day and set multiple appointments daily, this is not the job for you.


Key Responsibilities




  • Appraise used vehicles accurately and profitably




  • Desk and structure deals from start to finish




  • Work deals with lenders to secure approvals




  • Actively work internet, phone, and equity leads




  • Make 50–100 outbound calls per day to drive traffic




  • Set and manage multiple appointments daily




  • Lead by example and hold the team accountable




  • Take ownership of results for both Sales and Finance




Requirements




  • Prior Finance Manager experience (required)




  • Strong understanding of approvals, stipulations, and deal structure




  • Proven ability to generate traffic and close business




  • High energy, competitive mindset, and strong work ethic




  • Ability to manage numbers, people, and processes
