Automotive Technician (A Level) — GMC

Location: Adams, MA (Berkshire County)

Employment type: Full-time

Compensation range of $35 to $40 per hour based on experience and certifications).

Compensation Details

• Compensation: Competitive, experience-based pay with clear, tiered levels that recognize ASEs, GM training/certifications, and proven productivity.

• Top of scale: A-Level Technicians with prior General Motors experience are paid at the highest level on our plan

• We discuss specifics one-on-one to ensure fairness to current team members and the best mutual fit.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain GMC/Chevrolet/Buick vehicles to OEM standards

• Perform advanced electrical/drivability diagnostics using factory scan tools

• Complete warranty and customer-pay work accurately and on time

• Road-test, verify repairs, document findings, and flag hours with integrity

• Collaborate with advisors/parts for efficient, first-time-fix outcomes

• Help keep a safe, orderly, well-equipped shop

What you bring

• A-Level: Advanced Technician with strong Technical, Electrical, Mechanical and Diagnostic Skill Sets; GM brand experience and GM Training / ASE Certifications strongly preferred

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; able to lift 50+ lbs and meet shop safety standards

• A positive, team-minded approach and pride in doing it right the first time
