Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter capable of completing a wide range of carpentry and facility repair tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation/repair, trim work, doors, flooring, cabinetry, and general finish work.
• Complete light remodeling jobs as assigned.
• Collaborate with other trade technicians (plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R) on multi-trade service projects.
• Interpret job scopes, blueprints, and work orders to plan and execute projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding project status, recommendations, and next steps.
• Ensure all work meets Ostlund’s quality standards and complies with applicable codes.
• Accurately document labor, materials, and job details in company software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional carpentry experience required.
• Strong skills in rough and finish carpentry, drywall, door installation, millwork, and general repairs.
• Experience working in commercial environments preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Work schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
