Experienced CNC General Machinists – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Peekskill, NY
Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour + shift differential | Full-Time

Our client, a trusted manufacturer for over 40 years, is seeking Experienced CNC General Machinists/Programmers to join their team. This role offers a fast-paced environment, growth opportunities, and a stable career in precision machining across industries such as aerospace, power, petrochemical, and food service.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes and other CNC machines
Perform machining operations to produce precision mechanical components
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards
Perform basic CNC programming as required
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or degree a plus
3–5 years of CNC machining experience (lathe, set-up, operate, programming)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ITAR/DOD compliance requirements

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
2nd Shift: 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM (includes $0.80/hour shift differential)
Occasional Saturday work as required

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly pay: $22.00 – $25.00 (based on experience)
