What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll operate advanced CNC laser equipment to support diverse manufacturing needs. From setting up the machine to performing inspections and troubleshooting, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, ensuring quality and efficiency every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

• Read & interpret job orders to determine machine programming requirements.
• Safely operate the CNC Laser and maintain optimal cutting parameters.
• Load and unload sheets and parts using the loader system.
• Select appropriate cutting programs and fixtures for each task.
• Calibrate and adjust laser settings, including beam focal points, to ensure precise cuts.
• Validate the first cut piece and perform dimensional inspections to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Perform daily equipment checks, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, making adjustments to meet production goals.
• Track production performance, monitor efficiency, and suggest improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, reporting any potential hazards.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• At least 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC sheet metal lasers.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• In-depth knowledge of laser and heavy machinery safety protocols.
• Mechanical aptitude and acute attention to detail, especially with tight tolerances.
• Proficient computer skills, including equipment-specific software.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, and a commitment to professionalism.
