Experienced Concrete Finisher

GENERAL SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

-Primarily small, flat work

-Some Curbing work may be required

-Jack hammering

-Wheel barreling

-Hand work with shovels and rakes

-Maintaining equipment

-Sweeping and clean up

-With the possibility of working weekends, holidays and overtime.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

-Class D license

-Medical DOT card 

-OSHA training 

-MA & RI Hoisting License preferred

-Must abide by all safety policies

-Minimum of 2 years experience finishing concrete

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

-Be able to work in extreme weather conditions & be able to work the snow season

-While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in extreme weather conditions.

-The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, works outdoors under adverse weather conditions such as hot and or humid or cold and or stormy weather.

-Works with hazardous materials.

-Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and stooping-bending up to 80lbs several hours a day

-Be able to stand several hours a day
