Experienced Vehicle Detailer – Diehl Collision of Cranberry

Diehl Collision of Cranberry is hiring an experienced Vehicle Detailer with sanding and buffing experience!

We're looking for a skilled, dependable detailer who understands that the finishing touches matter. This position is ideal for someone with professional automotive detailing experience who is comfortable sanding, buffing, polishing, and preparing repaired vehicles for final delivery.

As part of our collision center team, you'll play an important role in making sure every vehicle leaves our facility looking its best.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing


• Wet sand and buff painted surfaces to achieve a professional finish


• Polish vehicles and remove minor surface imperfections


• Remove overspray, swirl marks, and other finish imperfections when possible


• Clean vehicles following collision repairs


• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, windows, wheels, and exterior surfaces


• Inspect finished vehicles for cleanliness and appearance


• Work closely with painters, body technicians, and management to ensure vehicles meet quality standards


• Prepare completed vehicles for customer delivery


• Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas


• Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive detailing experience required


• Sanding and buffing experience required


• Experience with wet sanding, polishing, and paint finishing preferred


• Knowledge of automotive paint finishes and proper detailing techniques


• Ability to safely operate buffers, polishers, and detailing equipment


• Strong attention to detail


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced collision repair environment


• Dependable with a strong work ethic


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
