2. If your resume shows short stints at every job, this won’t be the right fit either. We’re building a long-term team and value candidates who have stayed at previous roles for a year or more and are ready to commit to their next chapter.

Pay Structure

• Most new hires start at $19–$20/hour depending on experience
• Upper range ($22–$25/hour) is reserved for candidates with 3+ years leading group dog play
• Performance reviews at 90 days and 6 months with structured opportunities for raises and advancement

 What You’ll Learn and Do

• Lead off-leash playgroups (5–10 dogs per group)
• Observe body language and prevent escalation through calm redirection
• Support enrichment games, structured transitions, and nap routines
• Perform wellness checks and light first aid (scratches from play, etc.)
• Help with dog evaluations, admin tasks, and facility upkeep during downtime
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership
• Grow your behavior knowledge daily in a place that cares how dogs feel

Must-Haves

• 1+ year hands-on experience in a team-based setting (daycare, training, shelter, boarding, or vet clinic)
• 1+ year experience managing off-leash groups of 8+ dogs in a professional setting
• Strong understanding of dog behavior and play styles
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend/kneel, and be on your feet 8+ hours
• Available Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM 
• Looking for long-term growth, not just short-term work
