Experienced Electrician

PRICE ELECTRIC is a full-service electrical contractor that has been operating for 29 years and employs 200 construction employees nationwide. PRICE ELECTRIC now has daytime openings for skilled Electricians to provide top-quality services in commercial, service and industrial settings in the Fort Myers, Florida area. 

Performing jobs safely, thoroughly, timely and with excellent customer service, experienced Electricians plan, organize and complete installation of electrical components and systems (e.g., wiring, panels, circuits, devices, lighting) and troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, either personally or with teammates. To build business relationships through satisfied customers, this position utilizes strong communication skills to identify and understand customer needs and several years of progressive technical experience to perform high-level work that meets customer and company expectations. 

To help the team meet high production and quality standards, experienced Electricians utilize lean construction processes and have proven:

• Strict adherence to safety protocols


• Good time management and organization,


• Consistently high reliability,


• Effective interaction skills, and


• Comprehension and adherence to construction drawings, National Electrical Code and local codes, and permit requirements.

Knowledge of energy-efficient lighting and electrical systems, including LED installations and low-voltage systems is beneficial.

Physical demands include, but are not limited to, the ability to work 40 or more hours per week; frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs.; occasional lifting from floor to above shoulder; continuous standing, walking and/or climbing; regular squatting, kneeling and sitting; repetitive use of hands for frequent grasping, pushing and pulling and fine motor coordination; repetitive use of feet for operating equipment, conduit benders and vertical climbing; adequate balance for frequent climbing; and adequate vision for blueprint reading and color coding to identify wire.       

Since the job requires travel to and from customer job sites where work is typically performed, a valid driver's license and good driving record are highly preferred and reliable transportation is required. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varied weather conditions. Specialized training, safety controls and personal protective equipment are provided if working at heights, with electrical hazards, in confined spaces or when exposed to occasional dust, fumes, etc.
