Join JSG in Los Angeles, CA, for a direct hire position as an Estimator with specialized expertise in water restoration and hazardous materials.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, specifically in emergency response, water restoration, abatement, and construction.
- Ability to assess project requirements, evaluate costs, and prepare accurate estimates for successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of project sites, particularly in asbestos and construction, to determine scope and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather essential information for accurate estimation.
- Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.
- Utilize industry expertise to accurately estimate costs, including labor, materials, subcontractor services, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Review and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos removal, construction, and restoration.
- Monitor project progress and budget performance, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Collaborate with procurement team to source materials and services at competitive prices.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings, site visits, and project kick-off meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Estimator experience in restoration, asbestos, or construction.
