Commission Pay ~ Incredible opportunity. $80K-$200K+ is simply a base line. Your motivation, dedication, hard work and customer service will determine your commission opportunities.

Involves service work and confined spaces.

Basic Function:

To perform all services of the trade including, but  not limited to, inspecting, repairing, modifying, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drain systems.  Assembling and repairing pipe systems of various shapes, sizes and pressures and cleaning blocked drains, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations.

• Knowledge in plumbing techniques and procedures,


• Knowledge in trouble shooting plumbing problems,


• Repair, service and install fixtures and lines,


• Use locating equipment and camera,


• Knowledge of sewer jetting and inspection,


• Read plumbing diagrams,


• Knowledge of lift station repairs,


• Demonstrates appropriate safety, hygiene and health standards,


• Demonstrates safety of work area,


• Adheres to schedules; demonstrates punctuality,


• Willing to be called out in emergency situations,

• Must have excellent eye sight and depth perception,


• Must be a US citizen or legal resident alien,


• Has knowledge of tools required,


• Bilingual capability in Spanish would be a plus

Working Conditions:

The work is performed on job sites which may be subject to extremes of temperature & humidity both in indoor and outdoor settings.  The work surface can include unfinished crawl spaces and attics as well as roof tops, walk-in freezers, and concrete floors of pads.  There can be moving machinery and some work must be done in hazardous places.  This position requires, besides walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs wrists and fingers.  There may be exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, sewage, or vibration.  There is a risk of injury if work is done improperly.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.

            Body Positions:  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.  Employee may also be required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time while completing other duties & responsibilities.

            Body Movements:  The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as computer equipment.  The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects and to crouch when needed are also required.

            Body Senses:  The employee must have command of all five senses:  sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  These vision requirements in area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to close forms.

            Strength:  The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

Duties

Duties required include but are not limited to:

• Identify plumbing electrical and safety problems applicable to the location and take appropriate corrective action,


• Maintenance of customer owned pipe systems and fixtures as scheduled,


• Maintain company owned equipment, tools and vehicles


• Digging ditches,


• Mixing and pouring concrete,


• Entering confined spaces,


• Complete daily work as assigned,


• Leave work area in a neat and clean condition.  Ensure that area is picked up at the end of each job and each day,


• Use provided tools and equipment with care,


• Request parts from the plumbing inventory or parts house as needed,


• Clean tools and equipment as required,


• Keep Field Supervisor apprised of any problems or complaints,


• Maintain safe work site,


• Remain updated on code changes as they relate to plumbing


• Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance,


• Follow written and oral instructions,


• Any other task or duty as may be occasionally assigned by management.

Must be able to interact with and contribute to the team.

Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
