What You’ll Do:

As a Fiber Installation Technician, you’ll play a key role in bringing reliable, high-speed connectivity to homes and businesses. Responsibilities include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic cables, including splicing and termination.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting fiber optic issues, ensuring optimal network performance.
• Performing network quality and performance tests using specialized equipment.
• Climbing 28’ extension ladders on utility poles and midspan cables (PPE provided).
• Operating company vehicles to job sites and managing daily routes.
• Using a range of hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Accurately documenting all installations, repairs, and test results.

What We’re Looking For:

• Fiber installation or telecom experience is a plus 
• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn on the job.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Pay:  $20-28 per hour (based on experience).
