Experienced Lube Technician / B-Tech

Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Lube Technician / B-Level Technician to join our busy and growing service department. This position is ideal for a technician with at least 2 years of experience who is confident performing maintenance services and basic repairs, and who is ready to continue developing toward an A-Tech role. ASE certification is preferred, and candidates must have their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes to manufacturer specifications


• Conduct multi-point inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs


• Inspect, top off, and replace fluids as required


• Check and adjust tire pressure; rotate tires as needed


• Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance services


• Test-drive vehicles to verify proper operation


• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and team members


• Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and a clean, safe work environment


• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a lube technician or B-level technician


• Must have own tools


• Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and basic repair procedures


• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic and inspection equipment


• ASE Certification (preferred)


• Willingness to learn new technology, systems, and manufacturer procedures


• High School Diploma or GED (required)


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
