BILINGUAL MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST – EXPERIENCED



















Spring, Texas Office


Affiliates of Family Medicine, P.A. is an established, busy family medical practice serving patients in the Spring and Conroe communities for over 20 years. We are seeking an experienced, bilingual, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Spring office.


The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office. This position requires someone who is confident working independently, works well as part of a team, and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while providing exceptional service to our patients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Greet patients and provide a warm, professional first impression




  • Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately




  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls




  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments




  • Process appointment requests received by phone and electronically




  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits




  • Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information




  • Manage patient paperwork and documentation within the EMR




  • Collect patient payments and perform other front-office financial duties




  • Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, providers, and staff




  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and office




  • Assist with other administrative and front-office duties as needed




REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS




  • Previous medical receptionist or medical front-office experience required




  • Experience with insurance verification required




  • EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred



  • Bilingual in English & Spanish


  • Previous experience working in a family practice or physician office is a plus




  • Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills




  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy




  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible




  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team




  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a busy environment




  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills




  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office




  • Comfortable using general office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, fax machines, copiers, scanners, calculators, and computers
