Job Summary

Boutique Mid City law firm seeks paralegal to primarily handle personal injury cases. Our firm represents a diverse clientele in a variety of fields, including plaintiff and defense work in the areas of personal injury, property and casualty insurance, toxic torts, medical malpractice and estate planning. This position will chiefly focus on personal injury claims, but may be assigned other types of cases, as well. We are seeking a highly motivated paralegal to join our work family. In this role, you will provide support to our three attorneys and assist in all phases of the case through the litigation process.

Responsibilities

Manage, all aspects of, your assigned cases with the support of the attorney.

Communicate with clients in regards to the their case

Drafting of necessary documents

E-filing locally, as well as, federally

Our Ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate (preferred, not required)

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong written skills

Superior Microsoft Office skills

Experience working with Clio Management system (preferred but not required)

Willingness to work with multiple attorneys and other professionals

Professional demeanor and discretion

Ability to prioritize work, set and meet internal deadlines

Strong work ethic

Highly organized with document management experience

Excellent research skills

Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

3 years experience as a paralegal in Louisiana (Preferred)

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
