Position Summary:
Administers basic and advanced life support care, as well as other medical treatments or assessments to patients in pre-hospital setting. Operates within the scope of practice covered by his/her licensure level under the direction a Physician and consistent with state and local standard operating protocols. Performs continuation of care and observation during inter-facility patient transfers. Reports to Field Supervisor.

    What you will do:
    • Performs a variety of clerical, registration, cashier functions as well as laboratory phlebotomy procedures.
    • Obtains and interprets physician orders and diagnoses and performs the clerical functions related to ordering of ancillary services.
    • Maintains inventory and orders supplies.
      
      What you will need:
      • High school diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred
      • One year of experience in phlebotomy, Certification in phlebotomy from preferred
      • Department operation provides 24-hour coverage, 365 days per year, which may require working a variety of shifts and days of the week.
