Job Description - Experienced Professional Dog Groomer

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!

Requirements: Have at least 1 year experience or have graduated from an in-person grooming school.
Must be able to groom all common dog breeds/sizes well.

Pay: Groomers at Dogwoods Lodge can opt for hourly or commission based pay.
Most groomers here do 5-8 dogs per day.
We do not require that you do X number of dogs/day, just that you hold up our high standards of quality and follow the duties in the job description.

Hours: Groomers are expected to work full-time (35-40 hours/week). Groomers can work Mon-Fri, or Tues-Sat.

Paid Time Off:

1st year of employment --Five (5) days

2nd through 5th year of employment Ten (10) days

6th through 15th year of employment Fifteen (15) days

Dogwoods Lodge is a high-end facility with a reputation for excellent dog care and customer service.
We are seeking a groomer with excellent character, grooming skills, customer service abilities, and teamworking skills.
Our grooming room is beautiful, well-ventilated, and stocked with high-end tools to aid in the grooming process.
Groomers are visible to the public via a window, so professionalism must be maintained at all times.

We pride ourselves in a team atmosphere; the groomers share the grooming area with our services and lodging staff.
Our groomers also help train staff on basic bathing techniques, nail trims, etc.
We expect them to be team players and share their knowledge with the staff.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
