Experienced Professional Security Flex Officer - Full Time & Part Time

Must have 2 years of experience in security or a related field.

Work Locations: Are in the metro east ranging from Godfrey to Highland, Edwardsville to Cahokia Heights, Pontoon Beach to Sauget.

Wage Range: $17.00-$18.50/HR

Majority of these shifts will be 2nd shift (2PM - 10PM) and/or 3rd shift (10PM - 6AM).

Will include all weekends and most holidays.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift. 
• Conduct tours of the property. 

• Position can be up to 75% to 80% of the time outside in all weather (except lightning, hail, and tornado). 

• This position is about 75% to 80% standing / walking.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Flex Officer Basic Job Duties:

Will consist of filling call-offs, covering requested days off, vacation requests, and extra coverage for special assignments.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois. 

• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or be willing to complete a GED program.

• Average computer skills needed, above average computer skills a plus.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed. 
• Must be able to work independently. 
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations. 
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Must have a professional demeanor. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 

• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and walk up/down flights of stairs and/or ladders. 

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record needed. This is a driving position. (All our positions include driver certification).

• Must have reliable transportation (Public transportation is not available at most work site locations).

• Will need to be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during hours of 1:00pm to 7:00am.

• Will need to be available all holidays.

• Must have reliable working communication device (cell phone).

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
