Experienced Server- Private Club

Wasatch Peaks Ranch is an exclusive private club under development in the Wasatch Mountains.  We are located in Morgan, Utah.  The club is under development, with no permanent structures at this time.  The food and beverage team operates out of temporary structures and is occasionally required to work offsite at private member events.
 

Job Description:

Servers will handle the staging and delivery of food and beverage items to members, their family,

guests, and WPR prospects while adhering to company hospitality standards. All food and

beverage service will be executed in a timely and professional manner to provide a pleasant and

stress-free dining experience. Food and beverage is essential to the member experience.
 

Essential Qualifications:

The perfect candidate has outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to

solve problems and think creatively in a changing environment. A positive attitude is a must.
 

Job Duties:

• Assists members and guests while in and around the dining and public areas.

• Greet, seat, and attend to members and dining guests.

• Explains menu items and terms, while providing suggestions and information when asked.

• Delivers all food, beverage, snacks, and sundries as needed to provide a seamless experience to members, their family, guests, and WPR prospects.

• Learns and understands all food allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure a safe, positive dining experience.

• Acts as an extension of Membership and works to learn all members, their family, and regular guests’ names to address them in a professional and welcoming manner.

• Helps to maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment.

• Passes along comments and feedback from members to the appropriate manager so member voices are heard and needs addressed.

• Sets up daily breakfast and beverage stations as needed.

• Assists other teams with snow removal efforts and maintaining public areas.

• Prepares indoor and outdoor areas at the various lodges for member arrival.

• Acts as a host for après ski, site events, holidays, and other parties as needed.

• Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
 

Licenses and Experience:

• Utah Food Handler Certificate

• Utah On-Premise Alcohol Seller Server Training

• 1-3 years of serving experience, preferably in a 4-5-star resort or club setting.

• Must be comfortable using computer programs and club software.
 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Physical activity is moderate but can demanding with snow shoveling and removal and will require bending, kneeling, shoveling, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting.

• Carry up to 25lbs occasionally, 15lbs regularly.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Must be able to move around the property in a safe manner.

• Must be able to retain important member and guest information and maintain privacy.

• Ability to use various software platforms easily and efficiently.
