Experienced Service Advisor

Job Summary:
Johnson City Acura/Mazda is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. As a key member of our dealership team, the Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive service needs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and promoting service sales. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in Johnson City, Tennessee with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to and understand customer's automotive concerns and accurately document information
- Clearly explain service recommendations and any necessary repairs to customers
- Accurately estimate repair costs for customers and obtain necessary approvals
- Communicate with technicians and ensure timely completion of service work
- Keep customers informed of any delays or changes to service timelines
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction
- Promote additional service sales and upsell maintenance packages to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and sales goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership
- Proficient computer and technology skills
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, with ASE certification preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work weekends and some evenings as needed
