McLeod/Ascanio is seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant, to be based in the Cumberland Foreside office.   

• Bachelor’s degree. 
• CPA licensure.  
• 5-7 years of tax preparation experience. 
• Proficiency with Tax preparation software-Firm uses Intuit Lacerte. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Project and time management skills.  
• Ability to commute to office Monday through Friday and able to work overtime during tax season. 

• Salary range of $80-$115k, with bonus opportunities available.

• Serve as a primary client relationship for business and individual tax clients ensuring services are delivered timely and efficiently.  
• Depending upon experience, will facilitate or directly review and sign tax returns for individual and entity engagements. 
• Work with the partner group on setting and implementing policies and procedures with the Firm. 
• Assist in tax planning for business and individual clients. 
• Work with and coach junior accounting staff in procedural and technical matters.
