Today’s world is crime-riddled. Criminals are everywhere, invisible, virtual and sophisticated. Traditional ways to prevent and investigate crime and terror are no longer enough…
Technology is changing incredibly fast. The criminals know it, and they are taking advantage. We know it too.
For nearly 30 years, the incredible minds at Cognyte around the world have worked closely together and put their expertise to work, to keep up with constantly evolving technological and criminal trends, and help make the world a safer place with leading investigative analytics software solutions.
We are defined by our dedication to doing good and this translates to business success, meaningful work friendships, a can-do attitude, and deep curiosity.
We are looking for an Experienced UI/UX Designer to contribute to the design and evolution of complex Network Intelligence (NI) products.
This role is focused on hands-on execution and design maintenance: maintaining, extending, and refining data-heavy interfaces used by analysts working with large-scale network and intelligence data. You will work within established UX patterns and systems, helping them scale and evolve over time.
As a Cognyter you will:
Design and evolve user experiences for NI products across dashboards, investigative workflows, and analytical tools
Translate complex technical and domain requirements into clear interaction models
Design and maintain data-dense UI patterns such as tables, timelines, filters, alerts, and charts
Support feature development from concept through implementation and iteration
Perform ongoing design maintenance, including:
Modifying existing screens and workflows
Updating tables (e.g., adding or removing columns, states, or behaviors)
Adjusting layouts and interaction patterns to support new requirements
Create and extend components within the design system
Apply existing UX and UI patterns consistently across large product areas
Identify design debt and collaborate with UX team to address it incrementally
Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify requirements and constraints
Provide clear design specifications and support handoff to development
Review implemented work and help ensure design quality
Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterations
For that mission you’ll need:
3+ years of experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer on complex digital products
Experience working on existing products, not only greenfield concepts
Informed design decisions – research first
Solid understanding of interaction design, usability, and information hierarchy
