Job Description - Experienced Veterinary Technician

WVRC Racine/Kenosha is a veterinary hospital offering Emergency, Trauma and Critical Care in Somers, Wisconsin. We are dedicated to the compassionate care, specialized treatment and medical attention that our patients deserve.

We currently have an opportunity for a full- time experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team.

We are offering up to a $1500 hiring bonus depending on experience and qualifications!

Schedule and Compensation:

4/9's OR 3/12's hour shifts per week

2nd or 3rd shift available

$15-35/hr depending on experience

2nd shift earns a 10% shift differential

3rd shift earns a 20% shift differential

Certified Veterinary Technicians will enjoy up to a $1500 Hiring bonus depending on experience and qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Veterinary Hospital setting is required

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) is preferred but not required

Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required

Maintain a positive outlook and ability to contribute in a collaborative environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

Strong Technical skills including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning
