Experienced Wind Turbine Technicians Needed for Offshore Projects

If you are an EXPERIENCED Wind Technician, onshore or offshore, consider joining ENDIPREV USA’s offshore teams working on the Atlantic Coast, USA. We are hiring technicians who are flexible, available to work on various offshore projects, switching between sites as needed!

Our offices are based in Flower Mound, TX, the work is based primarily in the state of Massachusetts. Endiprev provides all transportation to fly you from home to the worksite, and back home again at the end of your rotation. You do not need to live in Texas nor Massachusetts for this position.

Technician profiles we are interested in:

·         Commissioning

·         Troubleshooting

·         M&E

·         Service

Current Offshore Projects:

·         Vineyard Service - Preventative Maintenance – Live on Martha’s Vineyard Island, transport to the wind farm daily by helicopter, with 6/2 rotation.

·         Vineyard - M&E and Commissioning – Off the coast of New Bedford, MA. Living on a service vessel offshore on the Wind Farm, with a 3/3 rotation.

·         Block Island - Corrective Maintenance – Working off the coast of Rhode Island, living on a service vessel with a rotation of 3/3.

§  Comfortable with heights, extreme temperatures, confined spaces.

 Required Skills:

§  Safety 1st focus! Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.

§  Verify that work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements.

§  Document all work performed.

§  Read, understand, and utilize written instructions. I.e., installation manual, TWP, WDI, PCAT, FCAT, CCT and others.

§  Perform installation, material handling, inventory, inspection, commissioning, or maintenance of completed GE turbines.

§  Document deficiencies found during inspections.

§  Repair defects.

§  Report policy or procedure violation.

§  Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.

§  Submit progress reports.

§  Demonstrate experience and proficiency in Microsoft office applications.

§  Liaise with internal and external customers.

§  Perform other duties as assigned.

§  Ability to climb multiple towers per day without a climb-assist.

§  Ability to safely utilize hand tools.

All candidates must have a valid driver’s license or other State ID, be able to pass a drug test and a background check. You must be able to work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse conditions within confined spaces at heights above 800 feet. Candidates must be able to work and manipulate 50 lbs. and demonstrate visual acuity including depth perception, field of view and ability to distinguish colors.
