Job Description:
 

We are seeking an Experimental Physicist with specialized expertise in acoustic testing of cryogenic propellant transfer lines to:


- Conduct acoustic testing of unwanted bubbles in cryogenic liquids propellent lines.
- Analyze and interpret data to understand the acoustic behavior and characteristics of the bubbles.
- Collaborate with a team of physicists and engineers on testing and data analysis.
- Utilize LabView, SolidWorks, and MATLAB for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of protocols and standards for acoustic detection or "bubble alarm".
 

This person will lead independent research through numerical and theoretical analysis, exploring quantum error-correction, quantum algorithms, and quantum “inspired” classical algorithms for near-term applications on quantum devices, including but not limited to quantum machine learning, quantum simulation and optimization. This person must be skilled in both numerical and analytical evaluation of the performance of quantum and classical algorithms, comparing different

REQUIRED Skills and Traits:

PhD or Master’s degree in Physics with a focus on applied or engineering physics.
 

Minimum of 4 year of experience in the field of acoustic testing of liquid-containing tanks.
- Proficiency in LabView, SolidWorks, and MATLAB is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cryogenic fluids for space applications will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

Basic Compensation:

$155,200.00 - $232,800.00

The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
